Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic laborer to join our industrial construction team. This role involves performing a variety of manual tasks to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality on-site. Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow construction plans and technical drawings accurately to assist with project tasks
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct erosion control measures to protect the environment and comply with safety regulations
- Operate power tools and equipment, including maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
- Implement OSHA safety standards and workplace safety regulations at all times during daily activities
- Assist with equipment repair, setup, and troubleshooting to ensure smooth workflow
- Climb ladders, scaffolding, or other structures safely as required for various tasks
- Support the implementation of safety protocols such as respiratory protection and other personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
Qualifications
- Prior industrial construction experience preferred; motivated individuals with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply
- Ability to read blueprints and construction plans with confidence
- Knowledge of erosion control practices and environmental safety standards
- Mechanical knowledge for equipment operation, troubleshooting, and repair
- Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards
- Experience with heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling tasks in a construction setting
- Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately for various project needs
- Strong understanding of respiratory protection use and other PPE requirements for safety compliance
