We are looking for an experienced diesel mechanic to serve as the afternoon shift supervisor.
Job Description
We’re looking for experienced diesel mechanics to help maintain a fleet of heavy trucks and dump trailers that haul sand and gravel locally. Also hiring for tire tech and PM tech positions.
Responsibilities
- Accurately diagnose truck issues and efficiently perform repairs
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Perform diesel engine and dump trailer repairs
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the drivers
- Set deadlines and ensure that repairs are completed in a timely manner
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Maintain open and timely communication
Qualifications
- Must have great work ethic and reliable attendance
- 3+ years of experience with heavy trucks preferred
- Must enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be comfortable with shifting priorities
- Proven problem solving skill and strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
