Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems such as Athena Health.
- Administer medications and injections accurately, other treatments following aseptic techniques and sterile processing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain meticulous medical documentation for all patient interactions and treatments.
Requirements
- Valid nursing license (RN or LPN) with current registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working in clinical setting.
- Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Athenahealth ; familiarity with ICD-10/ICD-9 coding is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work efficiently in fast paced clinical setting.
