For this particular pay or higher, we are only considering applicants who have held a management position in a Dairy Queen setting within the last two (2) years. Additionally, applicants must provide at least two (2) references from previous employers. Certified Dairy Queen Management certificate would be a plus though not required and pay will be discussed according to all experience provided.
We will accept applicants with management experience in the last 2 years from other restaurant's however the pay may differ depending on experience and references.

Job Description:
As a Manager, you will play a key leadership role in maintaining our high standards for service, cleanliness, and product quality. Working closely with the General Manager and owner, you’ll ensure smooth daily operations while fostering a positive and productive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership:Direct and support team members, ensuring efficient operations and high service standards.
- Employee Development:Mentor and train employees to excel in their roles and grow within Dairy Queen.
- Customer Experience:Address guest concerns professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Equipment Management:Learn the cleaning, maintenance, and operation of ice cream machines and other store equipment.
- Cake Decorating:Decorate Dairy Queen ice cream cakes according to company standards. This includes writing messages, applying designs, and ensuring high-quality presentation for custom orders and display cakes. Training will be provided.
- Community Involvement:Participate in local outreach efforts, strengthening Dairy Queen’s presence in Pahrump.
- Training & Progression:Encourage employee growth through Dairy Queen’s training programs and leadership development opportunities.
- Compliance:Enforce food safety, employee safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Scheduling:Responsible for creating and maintaining employee schedules to ensure proper shift coverage.
- Customer Relations:Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Deliveries & Inventory:Handle deliveries, take and submit inventory counts, and submit orders for products as needed.
- Operational Standards:Ensure the staff follows all guidelines and procedures set forth by Dairy Queen and management.
Required Qualifications:
- Recent restaurant management experience (within the last 2 years) is required.
- Minimum of 2 employer references required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example and motivate a team. This is a must.
- Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification and complete Dairy Queen’s training programs.
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods, kneel, bend and lift up to 50 pounds.
