Job Overview
We are looking for the right candidates to fill Part Time positions as Activity Assistants/Life Enrichment Specialists. We are seeking 2 passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team. The Activity Assistants/Life Enrichment Specialists are responsible for creating a fun environment and engaging our Residents in activities. The ideal candidates will have previous experience leading activities in either a nursing home or memory care assisted living setting.
Responsibilities
- Help to implement age-appropriate activities that encourage physical, social, and emotional development.
- Supervise Residents during activities to ensure safety
- Foster an inclusive environment where all Residents feel valued and engaged.
- Communicate effectively with Residents and staff regarding daily activities and any concerns.
- Maintain a clean and organized activity space, ensuring all materials are safe and accessible.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate events and programs that enhance the overall experience for Residents.
- Document participation
- Complete 1:1 sessions with Residents as needed
- Be creative in helping Activity Coordinator developing daily activities and keeping residents engaged
- Qualifications
- Experience in a memory care setting is preferred.
- Strong management skills with the ability to engage Residents effectively.
- Excellent communication skills
- A genuine passion for working with the elderly
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Must be a self starter

This position works 20-26 hours per week, every other weekend, and an occasional evening if there is a special event. When scheduled the hours are 9am-4pm.
