POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our NYC team. This is a unique role designed for a candidate who possesses strong system administration skills but also enjoys getting their hands dirty with physical support. You will be responsible for engineering our endpoint environments while simultaneously providing expert, desk-side hardware and software support to local users and white glove support to execs occasionally.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Physical Field Support: Act as the primary on-site technician to resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues directly at user desks.
Zero-Touch Deployment: Maintain automated deployment workflows via Apple Business Manager and Microsoft Autopilot for seamless employee onboarding.
Local Infrastructure: Maintain physical office technology including conference room AV setups, printers, and basic networking hardware.
Tier 2/3 Escalations: Serve as the senior technical resource for complex OS, network, or software issues escalated by the helpdesk
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS.
Experience
Experience: 4+ years of experience in physical field support and strong desktop support exposure.
Software Mastery: In-depth technical knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 and Apple macOS
Platform Expertise:

Intune for Windows

Jamf for Mac
Hardware Diagnostics: Strong ability to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade laptop and desktop hardware.
Certifications (Preferred)
Jamf 100 (Jamf Certified Associate)
Microsoft Fundamentals (e.g., MS-900 or similar foundational Microsoft 365 or Azure credentials).
Bonus: Associate-level credentials like the Microsoft MD-102 Endpoint Administrator.
Scripting Basics (good to have) : Ability to use Bash, Zsh, or PowerShell to automate basic setup tasks.
