Position Summary
This position requires a driven, self-motivated candidate with a friendly and professional telephone presence and a strong organizational ability. Medical office background and medical terminology is a must.
Licensed Vocational Nurse
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Talking to multiple health facilities in order to track patients

Training in Chronic Care Management

Organizing patients in spreadsheets
-
Chart Auditing using a rubric
-
Direct patient calls to schedule patients
-
Time tracking
-
Documenting history; recording and reporting pertinent observations and patient reactions to staff, as appropriate
-
Documenting lab procedures and ensuring follow up on results by keeping records
-
Using screening procedures, including medical history review, and observing and documenting patient vital signs as required

Verifying equipment function through routine equipment maintenance and advanced troubleshooting; calibrating equipment utilizing approved testing procedures; monitoring quality control measures and protocols

Training other technicians or other workers

Assisting with or instituting emergency measures as needed for a crisis situation

Performing other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education required

Current State Licensed Vocational Nurse in good standing

Knowledge of healthcare regulations and preventative measures (HIPAA confidentiality, infection spread, etc.)

Knowledge of Medical terminology

Exemplary customer service experience including client relationships and job knowledge

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively; ability to think critically

Knowledge of quality control
-
Ability to be empathetic with patients; ability to maintain confidentiality

Ability to do the same jobs correctly and meticulously daily
