Qualifications & Experience:
- Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience or strong interest in school-based OT services
- Knowledge of intervention strategies for diverse learners across K-12 age groups
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, staff, and families
- Organized, adaptable, and committed to student success
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ needs and develop individualized occupational therapy goals and plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions within classroom and small group settings
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals for a comprehensive approach
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide insights to support students’ educational journeys
- Educate staff and families about strategies to reinforce skills outside of therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and professional standards
