About the Position
Our growing Immigration Law Firm is seeking a motivated and compassionate Immigration Attorney to join our team. The position is hybrid, with our office conveniently located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration Court.
- Prepare and litigate applications for asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, and other forms of immigration relief.
- Represent clients before USCIS in a variety of affirmative immigration matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and appellate filings.
- Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings and interviews.
- Maintain consistent communication with clients and work collaboratively with support staff to ensure exceptional client service.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 3 years of immigration law experience, including substantial experience in removal proceedings.
- Experience representing clients before both the Immigration Court and USCIS.
- Exceptional legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
- Spanish proficiency is required (professional working proficiency or higher).
- Passion for advocating on behalf of immigrant communities.
Compensation & Benefits
