Shades is hiring a Retail Store Manager for our Flowood, MS location. This role is responsible for leading the sales floor, managing daily operations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Shades is a specialty retailer offering premium sunglasses and casual southern apparel, including brands like Ray-Ban, Costa, Maui Jim, Oakley, Vineyard Vines, Southern Marsh, Old Row, Burlebo, and more.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a retail team to deliver excellent customer service
- Oversee daily store operations and staff performance
- Manage inventory, shipping, and receiving
- Drive sales through scheduling, forecasting, and floor leadership
- Execute visual merchandising standards
- Meet sales goals and operational performance metrics
- Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-focused store
Requirements
- 3+ years of retail management experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
