Overview:
The Medical Transporter is responsible for chaperoning residents to and from appointments as
indicated. The Medical Transporter will ensure the resident is accompanied during
transportation, assisted throughout appointment location, and ensure adequate communication
with Medical Transportation Driver.
Requirements:
1. At least 18 years of age.
2. Ability to push and pull.
3. Ability to walk long distances.
4. Provide undivided attention during shift.
5. Complete the Medical Transporter Skills Check Off
6. CPR Certification
7. Experience in a healthcare setting (preferred).
8. Early morning appointments as applicable
9. Duties as assigned within scope
