Our client is looking for an SMT Operator to join a leading manufacturing solutions company serving the fast-growing Electronics Manufacturing industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment, including Fuji and Mydata pick-and-place machines, SMT screen printers, and reflow ovens, to efficiently produce high-quality PCBs for defense, aerospace, medical, automotive, and other demanding sectors.
You will ensure the proper setup of machines, load feeders with reels of components, and interpret assembly drawings and procedures to optimize production. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with experience in electronic assembly, component identification, and SMT processes who are detail-oriented and have strong communication skills.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Proficient in the setup and operation of SMT equipment, including Fuji and Mydata systems
- Experience with SMT screen printers, pick-and-place systems, and reflow ovens
- Knowledge of component identification, feeder sizes, and pitches
- Ability to follow assembly drawings and procedures accurately
- Attention to detail in complex PCB assembly
- Good communication skills
