Job Summary

Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal throughout the warehouse and common areas
- Conduct detailed floor care activities such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring surfaces to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- Support custodial operations by restocking supplies, sanitizing restrooms, and maintaining cleanliness in break rooms and workspaces
- Assist with light maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs, minor repairs, and inspecting facility conditions to identify potential issues early
- Support industrial cleaning projects by using specialized equipment for deep cleaning of large areas or equipment when needed
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any safety hazards or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly
- Support warehouse operations by organizing supplies and ensuring pathways are clear for safe movement of personnel and materials
Requirements
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with knowledge of commercial cleaning practices
- Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing floors
- Experience with industrial or large-scale cleaning environments preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
- Basic understanding of facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or troubleshooting common issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
