Experienced Bartender

Pay: $28–$42 per hour (hourly wage, plus pooled tips, paid weekly on Fridays)
The Oak is a private social club in the heart of Boerne serving an exceptional membership through premium cocktails, fine wines, top-shelf spirits, bottled beer, coffee, and one of the most authentic cigar experiences in the Texas Hill Country.
We're looking for an experienced bartender who enjoys genuine hospitality, takes pride in their craft, and understands that great service is about building relationships—not just making drinks. Our members know us by name, and we strive to know them by theirs.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who prefers serving appreciative members in an upscale, drama-free environment rather than working high-volume late-night bar crowds.
Responsibilities
- Prepare classic and contemporary cocktails with consistency and attention to detail
- Serve premium spirits, wine, beer, espresso, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Deliver warm, attentive service to members and their guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar
- Work member events, tastings, dinners, and signature functions
- Learn the fundamentals of premium cigars and confidently assist members (we'll teach you)
- Follow all TABC regulations and club service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and proper bar service
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working in an environment where premium cigars are enjoyed
- TABC Certification (required)
