Overview
Framar Distributors Corporation is seeking a bilingual, organized, and technology-oriented professional to join our team as a Credit & Accounts Receivable Specialist.
We are looking for a professional with excellent customer service and communication skills who can remain courteous while being firm and confident when handling credit and collection matters.
Responsibilities
- Review customer accounts, outstanding balances, aging reports, and credit status.
- Assist with credit approval decisions and the release/approval of customer orders.
- Process and apply incoming payments.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies and account differences.
- Maintain accurate and updated customer notes and records.
- Communicate professionally with customers, sales representatives, accounting staff, and management.
- Assist with basic accounts receivable and credit reporting.
- Identify problems and work toward practical and efficient solutions.
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and Spanish, written and spoken.
- Courteous, confident, and professional communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Comfortable working with accounting software, ERP systems, and other business platforms.
- Technology-oriented and able to learn new systems quickly.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to work independently, analyze situations, exercise good judgment, and solve problems.
- Previous experience in credit, collections, accounts receivable, accounting, or payment processing.
- Experience with SAP Business One is a plus, but is not required.
