Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings.
- Take accurate orders using the POS system, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and sanitation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash and credit transactions with care.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or fine dining preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Toast.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety standards.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
