Sacopee Valley Health Center is looking for a Patient Support Specialist to join our Call Center.
This Call Center position is full-time, M-F and on site. Join our growing Patient Support Team in providing quality service to our patients. The patient support specialist opens and closes the health center as assigned; schedules patients for appointments, notifying of any previous balance due; calls and confirms appointments; accesses various insurance portals to check patients' eligibility or financial responsibility, answers and processes incoming telephone calls.
Responsible, compassionate team member needed. Must be reliable, have computer literacy requiring high level of accuracy for data access, entry and retrieval; and excellent customer service skills are required.
High school diploma or equivalency required.
Sacopee Valley Health Center is a multi-service, progressive, rural Federally Qualified Community Health Center located in a designated medically under-served area. Services on-site include integrated primary care, dental services, family planning, behavioral health counseling, psychiatry, nutrition, podiatry, social services, care management, radiology and lab services. We utilize NextGen EHR. We are proud to maintain NCQA certification as a Level III Patient-Centered Medical Home. We are a not-for-profit organization and we offer our services on an income-based sliding fee scale. As a provider-led organization, we strive to maintain a positive and open work environment.
