Forte Well-Being (www.forte-wellbeing.com) is seeking enthusiastic and motivated Medical Assistants to join our growing team! We are striving to redesign how people experience healthcare in our clinics. Our services include medical, obesity medicine, dietitian, physical therapy, culinary medicine, occupational therapy, health coaching, and more. Must have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and organized.
Training will be located in our Mesa, AZ clinic.
Responsibilities:
- Accompanying patients to exam room, recording, and entering vitals in the medical record.
- Record patient’s health history in the medical record, as appropriate.
- Assist clinician with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
- Prepare lab and imaging orders, and complete referrals.
- Communicate results within the Medical Assistant scope of practice; Report abnormal findings per Clinician protocol.
- Explain procedures and test results.
- Resolve, and complete calls or messages as assigned.
- Accurately document all patient information and conversations in the medical record.
- Maintain and understand clinician protocols for workflows.
- Prepare equipment, supplies, and stocking exam rooms.
- Communicate effectively with team members, clinicians, and patients.
- Contribute as a part of a team providing excellent care and service to patients.
Qualifications:
- MA experience in primary care or related medical experience required.
- Familiarity with medical procedures, including EKG, preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance certification program preferred.
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
Pay Range:
Starts at $19.36 per hour and based upon experience.

Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy: 2 years (Required)
License/Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
