Position Overview: Carpenter
We’re looking for a Skilled Carpenter to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in residential construction and finish work, and a passion for delivering high-quality results. As a Carpenter at KennCo, you'll play a key role in projects that restore and enhance the homes of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, install, and repair wood structures and fixtures
- Deck building, framing, trim carpentry, and siding installation (all types)
- Drywall installation and finishing
- Painting and surface preparation
- Install windows and doors
- Accurately measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
- Read and interpret blueprints and project drawings
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to complete projects on time
- Ensure work complies with building codes and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe job site
Requirements
✔ Proven experience as a Carpenter in residential construction
✔ Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry techniques
✔ Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements
✔ Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
✔ Must have own truck and tools
✔ Valid Missouri driver’s license
✔ Ability to pass a criminal background check
✔ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✔ Physical stamina for demanding tasks and long hours
