The Express Mobile Lube of Northwest Arkansas Technician is an hourly full-time position responsible for performing oil changes, vehicle inspections and other routine maintenance to customer vehicles on-site at customer locations, including their home, work, or other locations. Vehicles include cars, light and medium-duty trucks and heavy-duty trucks and equipment. Utilizing service and repair knowledge, informational databases and testing equipment, the technician is expected to complete routine oil changes and maintenance on customer vehicles.
Other duties include, identifying needed repairs through the inspection process, discussing them with customers, and scheduling recommended repairs in the Express Mobile Lube App. The Mobile Lube Tech is also responsible for consulting with the Express Mobile Lube General Manager on repairs needing to be completed, estimating the cost for repairs in the EML App and scheduling as necessary.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Work in cooperation with various approved parts suppliers and vendors in sourcing and securing quality parts and supplies at a fair price.
Daily, prior to each shift, review the schedule for the day. Stock the service van accordingly with oil, oil filters and air filters, and other essential fluids and items either from the warehouse or from approved vendors.
Utilizing various testing equipment and procedures, along with informational databases, complete oil changes and routine maintenance on customer vehicles.
Following proper procedures, make electronic and mechanical repairs on-site on customer vehicles in a timely and safe manner.
Communicate directly with customers on-site concerning their service and/or repairs.
Using the EML App, invoice the customer upon completion of service and/or repairs.
Using the EML App, process customer payments.
Maintain the cleanliness of the service van on a daily basis.
Keep tools and equipment organized on a daily basis.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable navigating an in depth booking app and POS system through a mobile device that includes data entry, researching part numbers, and processing payments.
Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license.
Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work primarily alone without direct supervision.
Work in cooperation with, and consult with, other shop and/or mobile technicians.
Ability to work a regular 40 hour/week schedule that has bookings on the hour, every hour, and the ability to be flexible with regard to the schedule when necessary.
Communicate, in a timely manner, any scheduling changes with the customers.
Proficiency with shop tools, equipment and diagnostic equipment.
Working knowledge of the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of light duty gasoline and diesel engines and related mechanical, electrical and electronic component systems, including AC Systems.
Good communication skills when dealing with customers, vendors, supervisors and colleagues.
Good problem solving skills required.
Must be detail oriented.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Able to walk/stand on concrete for prolonged periods of time.
Able to perform repetitive tasks.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Frequent exposure to automotive fluids including, oil, coolants, exhaust fumes, gasoline, and diesel fuel.
Able to dress appropriately and work in a variety of weather conditions including high heat and subfreezing temperatures throughout the seasons.
Able to utilize PPE when necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
$18-22/hour depending on experience. (40 hours per week guaranteed)

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
