Pay Rate: $3,000 – $3,500/Week (Based on Specialty & Experience)
Hours: 48 Hours/Week
Job Description
We are seeking experienced Travel Registered Nurses (RN) for multiple specialties including Emergency Room (ER), Operating Room (OR), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Telemetry (Tele), Medical-Surgical (Med Surg), and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) assignments.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical experience, excellent critical thinking skills, and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced hospital environments. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of recent specialty experience and Epic EMR experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across assigned specialties.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and procedures according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions, recognize changes in status, and intervene appropriately.
- Collaborate with physicians, ancillary departments, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic EMR system.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Follow hospital policies, infection prevention standards, and patient safety protocols.
- Participate in care coordination, handoff communication, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Adapt quickly to different hospital environments, workflows, and patient populations.
Specialty Requirements:
ER RN, ICU RN, OR RN, Tele RN, Med Surg & PACU RN
Requirements:
- Active RN License (Compact or State License as required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the specialty applied
- Previous acute care hospital experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Additional certifications based on specialty (ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, etc.) preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
