IT Support Technician – Turnkey Management Company, LLC
Turnkey Management Company, LLC is looking for an energetic, growth-oriented individual with the skills and demeanor to be an effective IT Support Technician. Turnkey continues to grow their operations and provides staff for Turnkey Telecom Solutions, Stealth Broadband, Turnkey Nerds, and Technical Magic. Turnkey Telecom Solutions provides engineering and splicing services to customers throughout Nebraska and western Iowa. Stealth Broadband is Platte Valley and Northeast Nebraska’s leading Internet Service Provider focused on bringing fast / affordable Internet service across the service area. Turnkey Nerds provides IT support to businesses in the Blair / Omaha area. Technical Magic provides Internet and Managed Wi-Fi service to apartments and condos throughout the Midwest.
This IT Technician will join our team of “Nerds” that provides IT Managed Services to small business customers in Washington, Dodge and Douglas Counties.
Responsibilities:
· Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software.
· Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel and Clients.
· Assist clients with User Account creation on multiple platforms (O365/Local Domains/Unifi) and more.
· Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in person, remotely and via phone.
· Assist employees and customers with computer problems and answer their questions.
· Manage daily, weekly, and monthly backup operations.
· Help customers troubleshoot issues they encounter while using Internet, network file servers, printers, and software.
· Consult and provide solutions to 3rd party's IT needs.
· Design, configure, implement, and maintain Wi-Fi networks.
· Tier 1 Support for inter-company services.
· Manage and maintain employees and customers Office 365 Tenants including Exchange/Entra AD enrollment.
· Configuration of video surveillance cameras and systems.
· Assembly and Prep of computer systems tailored to specific client needs.
· Maintain a clean and organized workplace.
· Maintain an inventory of equipment.
· Understanding and use of remote support agents and RMM to deliver support to our clients.
· Other duties as assigned.
Skills:
· Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations.
· Understanding of IT principles and an ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
· Strong sense of discretion and confidentiality required.
· Hardware and Software Troubleshooting Skills.
· Strong customer service skills.
· Detailed record keeping.
· Ability to work with technology including Wireless Point to Multi-point and Wi-Fi Networks.
· Basic Understanding of IPv4 Subnets.
· Basic Understanding of VLANS.
· Basic Understanding of Routing and Switching.
· Basic Understanding of Firewalls.
· Familiar with Office 365 Admin portals.
· Basic Understanding of Local AD domain management.
· Basic Understanding of Exchange Online Mail management.
· Basic Understanding of Entra AD domain management.
· Strong Understanding of Windows systems Installation and management both legacy and modern iterations.
· Basic Understanding of linux based operating systems.
· Work in a safe manner at all times.
Required Qualifications:
· Associate degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
· Some experience in computer networks and systems maintenance.
· Some experience on current network operating systems.
· Must be able to report during business hours to an office in Blair, Nebraska.
· You will be required to travel within the local area to assist our clients with onsite technical assistance as needed.
· Valid US driver’s license.
· Must be able to carry up to 75 lbs.
· Must be able to bend, stand, sit, crawl, climb, and lift throughout the work shift.
· As Turnkey Nerds will be providing IT support to law-enforcement entities, all candidates must be able to meet CJIS compliance. This includes full background check and no felonies on record.

· 5+ years’ Experience with Microsoft Office, Internet Browsers, Mobile applications or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years’ experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Disaster Recovery Configuration, and VMware or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years’ experience with LANs/WANs/WLANs or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years’ experience with routers, switches, firewall policies, configurations, and management or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years’ experience with Network Security, Disaster Recovery, Configuration, and DNS Configurations or equivalent work experience
· 5+ years’ experience Customer Service (IT related field preferred) or equivalent work experience
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
