Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating day cab trucks, ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle diverse driving assignments, including route driving and specialized vehicle operation.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Execute route driving efficiently while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the truck to uphold company standards.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of road safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations on the road.
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as required by company policy.
