Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team serving the Woodlands, Spring, and Cypress areas. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for pediatric patients, utilizing knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to inform diagnosis and treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized therapy programs focused on improving speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication skills in children
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care and progress tracking
- Provide early intervention services to infants and toddlers with speech or language delays or disorders
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinical standards
- Stay current with best practices in pediatrics and speech therapy techniques through ongoing professional development
- Educate families about strategies to support communication development at home and in educational settings
Experience
- Prior school experience working with children in educational or clinical settings is highly desirable
- Demonstrated expertise in pediatric speech therapy across diverse age groups within early intervention programs or school environments
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy related to speech production and swallowing functions
- Proven ability to conduct comprehensive patient assessments using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric speech-language pathology
- Experience working with children who have speech delays, articulation disorders, language impairments or related conditions
