Position requires extensive experience with all functions related to shipping and receiving of items.
Responsible for all outgoing shipping including UPS, UPS World, FedEx and any common carriers needed. Responsible for all incoming goods including, but not limited to chemicals, packaging, raw brass, customer parts for finishing, other miscellaneous items.
- Must have extensive knowledge of current shipping and receiving systems.
- This job requires excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with diverse personalities, be tactful, mature and flexible.
- Must be extremely organized in work habits and maintain and/or improve a streamlined and efficient workstation.
- Must be reliable and report to work on time.
This is a 10-hour per day operation and requires planning and organization skills.
- High School Diploma required. Some college or trade school education a plus.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Minimum 2 years current experience in shipping and receiving position.
