Job Responsibilities: Licensed acupuncturists will
- Help relieve discomfort and provide treatment for injuries, wellness maintenance or medical conditions, within their scope of practice.
- Apply needles, cupping, e-stim, gua-sha, tui-na, interferrential, therapeutic ultrasound, russian stim, biphasic to specific parts of the body to bring relief from related symptoms.
- Personalized treatment plans for individual clients that specify treatment areas and treatment frequency. & open to continuing treatment protocols that have worked well for a patient, while making clinical decision to modify based on updated signs and symptoms.
- Propose final treatment plans to clients and implement them only after client acceptance and agreement.
- Refer clients to other professionals and therapists when appropriate and necessary to receive appropriate diagnosis or treatments.
- Complete SOAP notes on time, for billing to be processed in a timely manner.
Additional requirements:
- Acupuncture License in Virginia and NCCAOM certificate required
- Personal Malpractice insurance required.
- Working knowledge of medical conditions/terminology, ICD10 codes, and CPT codes.
- Confident in-patient management, time management, SOAP notes
- At least 1 year prior clinical experience preferred.
- In-network with Blue cross blue shield and Anthem BCBS, or open to going in-network. Billing will be included. Applicant’s should preferably apply in immediately for CAQH credentialing, to go in-network within the following 3 months & to be added to the practice’s BCBS and Anthem plan.
Pay:
- Compensation is on a per treatment basis and includes opportunities for additional income performing other modalities.
- $40.00 - $450.00+ per day, patient load dependent.
- Potential Schedule Hours: Mon-Saturday, 10am-6pm.
- Potential for long term contract with updates to commission.
