Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Assisted Living Registered Nurse (RN) – Traveling to oversee multiple small communities. In this exciting role, you will provide high-quality nursing care across multiple assisted living communities, ensuring residents receive compassionate, personalized attention. Your expertise will support the health and well-being of seniors and individuals with disabilities, delivering essential medical services in a variety of settings. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history reviews to develop tailored care plans.
- Staff training and compliance
- Review and oversee community staffing
- Reporting as required
- Over see coordination of care, service plans and supervision of staff
- Coordinate discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies while maintaining accurate medical documentation within EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system.
- Provide triage services for urgent health concerns.
Requirements
- Valid RN license with current state registration; multi-state or travel licenses preferred.
- Proven experience in assisted living settings or long-term care facilities; prior hospital or nursing home experience highly valued.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Cerner or eClinicalWorks.
- Demonstrated skills in medication administration and infection control practices.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments while maintaining high standards of patient care; excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
- Physical ability to perform nursing duties including lifting patients with Hoyer lifts, performing physical examinations, and working flexible hours across different locations. Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
