Garland’s Jewelry and Garland’s Navajo Rugs are two high-end Native American art galleries located in Sedona, Arizona. We represent many of the Southwest’s finest Native American artists and offer handmade jewelry, Navajo rugs, pottery, baskets, kachina dolls, and other works of art.
Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented person for an entry-level position involving product photography, inventory organization, data entry, and online merchandising.
Professional photography or inventory experience is not required. We are looking for someone who is comfortable with computers, eager to learn, and capable of producing careful, consistent work. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Photograph handmade Southwestern art, primarily jewelry, as well as rugs, pottery, baskets, kachina dolls, and other artwork
- Edit and organize product photographs
- Enter product information into our inventory database
- Upload product photographs and descriptions to our retail website
- Help track and organize inventory across both Garland’s gallery locations
- Maintain accuracy and consistency throughout the photography and inventory process
Qualifications
- Must live in or near Sedona, Arizona, and have reliable transportation
- Dependable, punctual, and organized
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable using Apple computers and learning new programs
- Able to work independently and stay focused on repetitive, detail-oriented tasks
- Photography, Adobe Lightroom, data-entry, or Shopify experience is helpful but not required
- No college degree or professional photography experience required
- An interest in photography, jewelry, art, or online retail is a plus
- Willingness to learn is more important than previous experience
Additional Details
- Initial two-week trial period to ensure the position is a good fit for both parties
- Work may take place at one or both Garland’s gallery locations in Sedona
