We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping/Laundry Director to join our growing skilled nursing home team in Gates, NY. As a key member of our support services team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and well-being of our residents.
About the Role:
As the Housekeeping/Laundry Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping and laundry departments. This includes managing a team of housekeeping staff, coordinating scheduling, and ensuring that all areas of the facility are clean and well-maintained. You will also be responsible for ordering supplies, implementing infection control measures, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service to our residents
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure efficient and effective cleaning practices
- Oversee the ordering and inventory management of supplies to maintain a clean and well-stocked facility
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a high level of customer service
- Implement infection control measures to promote a clean and healthy environment for our residents
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, such as HIPAA and OSHA guidelines
