Job description:
Employbridge is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills/lathes in a high-volume environment. You’ll perform precision machining, make program/offset edits, and uphold tight tolerances while driving safety, quality, and throughput.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all safety policies and maintain safe work practices
- Maintain inventory of sheet metal and parts using control procedures
- Safely handle materials and equipment to prevent injury and damage
- Perform complex setups, edit programs, and adjust offsets on laser and press brake CNC equipment
- Perform cutting, bending, punching, drilling, deburring, and related operations per drawings and specs
- Complete tasks on time to meet production schedules
- Cross-train and assist in training less experienced employees
- Perform and document required quality inspections and testing
- Prepare materials and products for next stages of production
- Maintain housekeeping, safety standards, and equipment upkeep
- Accurately record time and material usage for reporting
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- 3–5 years of CNC laser and press brake setup/operation experience
- Ability to read blueprints and use measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs and perform physical job duties
- Knowledge of tooling, workholding, and safe machining practices
- Self-motivated with multitasking ability
- Basic computer and Windows navigation skills

Pay: $23.17 - $24.94 per hour
