Chris Murray for State Senate
Chris Murray is the Democratic and Working Families Party Nominee for NYS Senate District 1, which includes Stony Brook through the North Fork; Westhampton through the South Fork. He is an environmental attorney, lifelong community leader, and father of 4 from East Setauket. Chris is running to help working families on Long Island afford to live and pave a brighter future for New Yorkers. This will be by supporting a universal healthcare, increasing environmental protections, and standing against threats to our democracy.

The Internship Program
The campaign is looking to hire a Fall Cohort of Campaign Interns, who will execute our field operations through door knocking and phone banking. Other tasks may be assigned, depending on the needs of the campaign and capacity for interns.
The minimum requirement for high school Campaign Interns is 5 hours per week; college-aged 8 hours per week. The program is designed for young professionals looking to gain experience with civic engagement and political work.
