Qualifications & Responsibilities
- Bilingual required (English and Spanish, fluent).
- Strong organizational, communication, and grammar skills for receiving, reviewing, and responding to internal emails from staff and paralegals.
- Assist in obtaining case-related information and documentation from paralegals as needed for patient care coordination.
- Assist in scheduling patients for pain management consultations and procedures.
- Review provider procedure recommendation sheets and accurately document recommendations and notes in patient records.
- Identify, prioritize, and process STAT referrals to ensure timely patient care.
- Assist with Spanish-speaking patient intake, including gathering patient information and facilitating communication between patients and staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA requirements.
- Work collaboratively with providers, case managers, attorneys, and support staff to coordinate patient care and referrals.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Personal Injury (PIP) or medical scheduling preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
