Job description: PRN RN in Dallas/Ft Worth, Tx
Allure Home Health is looking for an experienced PRN Registered Nurse to join our home health team and provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the home setting. This is a great opportunity for RNs who want flexibility, autonomy and meaningful one-on-one patient care. The ideal candidate would reside in Dallas/Fort Worth with the ability to provide services in surrounding areas.
- Provide skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes in accordance with physician orders and plan of care
- Complete start-of-care, resumption-of-care, recertification, and routine visits as assigned
- Perform comprehensive assessments, wound care, medication management, and patient education
- Accurately complete clinical documentation, including OASIS when applicable
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the physician and clinical leadership
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support patient goals and outcomes
- Follow all agency policies, infection control practices, and regulatory requirements
- Educate clients and/or family regarding diagnosis, treatments, medications
- Home health experience preferred (will consider strong clinical background)
- Knowledge of OASIS and Medicare home health regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation for field visits
- Strong documentation and electronic charting skills with OASIS experience required
- Current TB test
- Current CPR/1st Aid
