Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Responsible for the proper use of dish machine to clean all dishes used within the kitchen and for events.
- Wash dirty pots, pans, dishes, utensils, etc. as needed by the kitchen, restaurant, or banquet staff.
- Responsible for the organized storage of dishes, glasses, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, etc. in appropriate areas.
- Maintain the sanitation of utility areas and equipment, including keeping the soiled dish area organized throughout the day.
- Mop floors in the kitchen and associate cafeteria at the end of the day or when asked by management.
- Assist with kitchen plate-up, food service set-up and breakdown when needed.
- Report all breakage to management.
- Wipe down and sanitize all surfaces in the kitchen throughout the day.
- Complete daily cleaning schedules according to the railroad schedule.
- Put away deliveries in their appropriate storage places as they arrive at the hotel.
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of all areas of the dish room, kitchen aisle and dock area.
