City Fresh Foods is seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver meals, food products, and supplies to schools, community organizations, healthcare facilities, and other customer locations throughout Massachusetts and surrounding areas. The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining food safety, product quality, and exceptional customer service. This is a Mon-Fri 6:00AM-2:30PM work schedule.
What You’ll Be Doing:

Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all federal, state, and local traffic laws.

Load and unload food products while ensuring accuracy and product integrity.

Verify delivery orders against invoices and packing lists.
- Deliver products according to established routes and schedules.
- Utilize routing and tracking systems (e.g., GPS or delivery app) to follow assigned routes, monitor delivery status, get proof of delivery and ensure on-time performance.
- Obtain customer signatures and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Maintain proper food temperatures in accordance with FDA, USDA, and company food safety standards.
- Practice safe food handling procedures at all times.
- Communicate delivery issues, delays, accidents, or vehicle concerns to dispatch or management immediately.
- Keep delivery vehicle clean, organized, and fueled.
- Return delivery paperwork, invoices, and any returned product to the appropriate department.
- Follow all company policies, including safety, attendance, uniform, and code of conduct requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid Massachusetts Driver's License (CDL not required unless otherwise specified).
- Clean driving record with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum one year of delivery or commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to operate box trucks and refrigerated delivery vehicles.
- Ability to read maps, GPS systems, and delivery manifests.
- Basic math and documentation skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to repeatedly enter and exit delivery vehicle throughout the day.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, kneel, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
