Description:
The Admissions Representative provides accurate program information and conducts structured interviews to determine applicant acceptability based on the school catalog and admissions criteria. This role delivers a professional, high-trust prospective student experience while following all school policies and compliance standards.
- Maintain a positive, professional, businesslike manner with all students, clients, and staff
- Conduct prospective student interviews using the Admissions Procedure Manual and leadership direction
- Maintain strong, current knowledge of programs and career paths to market each program accurately
- Schedule appointments from inbound inquiries and complete consistent follow-up (no-shows, enrolled-to-start, cancellations)
- Attend admissions meetings and support orientations/graduations as requested
- Submit any student funds received (registration, tuition, supplies) on the date received
- Use only approved school promotional materials
- Prepare and submit admissions documents accurately and on time
- Provide a full catalog (and addendums) and a campus tour before enrollment agreements are signed
- Meet activity and performance expectations for starts, cancellations, retention, and referrals
- Maintain confidentiality, regular attendance, and complete other duties as assigned
- Follow all Federal, State, and local laws, accrediting standards, and school policies
- No misrepresentation or exaggeration of programs, accreditation, outcomes, or salary expectations
- No discrimination or disparaging other schools/students
- Follow federal financial aid restrictions: do not assist with FAFSA/FFELP, guide lenders, or promote loans
- Follow recruiting restrictions (no third-party agents, no inducements, no prohibited solicitation locations, proper titles only)
Requirements:
- High school diploma required.
- Associate or higher-level educational credentials preferred.
