Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments of residential plumbing issues using schematics, blueprints, and mechanical knowledge.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and related components using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment.
- Conduct remodeling projects involving plumbing system upgrades or replacements in accordance with construction plans and schematics.
- Utilize welding skills when necessary for pipe repairs or custom fittings on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation and repairs aligned with construction standards.
- Engage in construction site experience including heavy lifting, carpentry tasks, and working safely around HVAC systems.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by troubleshooting issues efficiently and performing basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates.
- Operate a commercial vehicle responsibly for transportation between job sites while adhering to safety regulations.
- Assist with handyman tasks or assembly work related to plumbing or remodeling projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, including pipe threading, welding, and installation techniques.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, schematics, HVAC integration, and mechanical principles.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical schematics for complex projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other construction-related machinery.
- Experience working on construction sites with exposure to remodeling projects or commercial environments is preferred.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces or elevated areas safely.
- Basic math skills for measurements, material calculations, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driving certification is a plus.
- Handyman experience or carpentry skills are advantageous for versatile project support.

Pay: $28.42 - $34.22 per hour
