We’re hiring an Assistant Stylist to join our brand-new, newly renovated modern salon in Berkley.
This is an ideal role for a newer stylist who wants hands-on training, real mentorship, and a clear path to building a strong book behind the chair in a supportive, laid-back luxury environment.
You’ll work alongside experienced stylists while developing technical skills, confidence, and clientele in a salon designed for long-term growth.
What You’ll Do
- Support senior stylists with guest preparation and service flow
- Assist with color applications, toning, treatments, and blowouts
- Provide exceptional shampoo and guest experience services
- Maintain salon organization and presentation
- Learn consultation techniques and service timing
- Grow toward taking your own clients behind the chair
What We’re Looking For
- Michigan cosmetology license
- Strong interest in color, cutting, and styling
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Professional communication and guest care skills
- Team-oriented mindset
- Social media comfort is a plus
