John Kristiansen New York Inc., a New York City based costume shop specializing in costumes for stage, screen and special events, seeks an experienced tailor for its theatrical tailoring department. Experience tailoring costumes preferred.
Ideal candidate will be able to flat pattern structured garments like suit jackets, vests, trousers. Must be able to interpret designs provided to create high-quality garments. Must have ability to work within the parameters of deadlines and price point. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, creative environment, with a team of skilled professionals.
