Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods
- Serve food and drinks promptly, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Extensive experience with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, wine varieties, spirits, and drink presentation
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in fast-paced environments
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Food handling certification and understanding of sanitation protocols
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience with fine dining or casual settings preferred
- Effective communication skills to engage guests and collaborate with team members
