Position: Remanufacturing Tech 1

Job Summary
- Entry-level position responsible for assisting in the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing of components or assemblies in a remanufacturing environment
- Focuses on learning remanufacturing processes, following detailed work instructions, and supporting higher-level technicians while maintaining quality and safety standards
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Disassemble, clean, and reassemble components following established work instructions and procedures
- Perform basic inspections to identify obvious wear, damage, or defects
- Assist with repairs, part replacements, and adjustments under supervision
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly
- Support functional testing and quality checks as directed
- Read and follow work orders, job instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Accurately record work performed and parts used
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety rules, policies, and PPE requirements
- Notify leads or supervisors of quality concerns, defects, or safety issues
- Support team members and assist Level 2 or Level 3 technicians as needed
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn remanufacturing processes
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Basic knowledge of hand tools or mechanical assembly preferred
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience
- Technical training, vocational coursework, or on-the-job mechanical experience
- Familiarity with basic measuring tools
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment
Work Environment
- Manufacturing or remanufacturing facility
- Exposure to machinery, tools, oils, and cleaning materials
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) required
