Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team for an early morning 2-hour shift in Boston. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide vital patient care during the quiet, critical hours of the day. As an RN on this shift, you will be responsible for performing comprehensive patient assistance to help the client prepare for the day.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations
- Administer medications and injections accurately following prescribed protocols, including medication management.
- Document all patient interactions, interventions and daily status ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Maintain infection control standards and ensure aseptic techniques are rigorously followed during all procedures.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Massachusetts with current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience working in hospital medicine, emergency room settings, or critical care units such as ICU or trauma centers.
- Experience working with diverse patient populations including geriatric individuals
- Excellent assessment skills combined with acute care experience in settings like urgent care or outpatient clinics.
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining safety standards.
