Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Electrical Operations Manager to lead our electrical projects and operations with energy, precision, and a passion for excellence. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate electrical operations across multiple construction projects across the Southeast, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety standards.
- Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar software to optimize timelines and resource utilization.
- Supervise Electrical Engineers, Project Managers, and on-site teams to ensure quality workmanship aligned with blueprints, schematics, and system design specifications.
- Review and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts.
- Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant safety standards during all phases of construction.
- Facilitate effective project communication through detailed contract management, scope clarification, and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
- Utilize construction software (McCormick, ProCore and Bluebeam, etc) for project documentation, progress tracking, and reporting.
- Conduct site inspections to verify work quality, safety compliance, and adherence to design specifications.
- Drive continuous improvement by implementing best practices in construction management, project scheduling, and electrical system design.
Skills
- Extensive experience in the electrical construction industry with a strong background in system design and schematic reading.
- Proven expertise in construction site management, project coordination, and construction management principles.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Primavera P6, McCormick, ProCore, Bluebeam, and related software for estimating and project tracking.
- Deep knowledge of NEC regulations, electrical codes, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract management.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects.
- Excellent leadership capabilities with experience managing multidisciplinary teams on complex construction sites.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes including cost analysis for labor, materials, equipment using McCormick or similar platforms.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients, contractors, and team members at all levels of expertise.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety standards and quality assurance throughout all phases of electrical installation projects.
