Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience.
- Manage POS systems such as Micros POS to process cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Develop new beverage recipes and refine existing ones to keep the menu fresh and exciting.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment to ensure the bar is well-equipped at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff on food pairing suggestions and support catering or banquet events as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending, including cocktail mixing, mixology, wine knowledge, and spirits expertise.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for processing transactions smoothly.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Previous food service or restaurant experience, especially in fine dining or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of beverage recipe development, brewing processes, and craft beer trends is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order processing.
- Experience with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and beverage presentation standards.
