Overview
We are seeking local experienced and compassionate individual to join our team of Live In Caregivers in a permanent capacity. As a Live in Caregiver, you will reside with the Client in their home and play a vital role in providing essential care and support to individual within the comfort of their home. A grocery stipend/allowance will be provided and a private sleeping area (24 hours shift includes up to 8 hours of sleep time per day).
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
- Give medication reminders and assist with medical appointments as needed
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health or behavior
- Implement care plans tailored to individual needs
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Experience
- Prior experience as a live in caregiver is required
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
Applicants who have not resided in Pennsylvania for the past two years must provide an FBI background check/clearance.
A current (within the last year) TB (tuberculosis) negative test is required.
