Driver / Laborer – Yard
Masonry & General Contracting Media, PA Serving Greater Philadelphia
Phoenix Contractors, a masonry and general contracting firm serving the Greater Philadelphia region for
over 30 years, is looking for a reliable Driver/Laborer to support our yard and job site operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate company box truck/flatbed (non-CDL) to deliver materials (brick, block, mortar, tools,
equipment) to job sites throughout the Philadelphia region
- Load and unload trucks safely, including use of pallet jacks, hand trucks, and basic rigging
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the yard — material staging, inventory checks, tool storage
- Assist laborers/masons on job sites as needed when not driving
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fluids, tires, lights) and report maintenance issues
- Follow all safety protocols per company safety plan
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid PA driver’s license (Class C) — CDL not required
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Construction/masonry yard experience a plus, not required
- Must pass background check and drug screening
DETAILS
- Full-time, Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturday work
- Based out of 115 West State Street, Media, PA 19063
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
