UX & Content Optimization:
- Review digital touchpoints and campaign materials to simplify complex language into audience-friendly content that improves clarity and user engagement.
Asset & Content Audits:
- Help maintain, organize, and audit the department’s asset library (photos, video clips, and templates) to ensure content remains current, structured, and easy to reuse.
Multimedia Production:
Video Production: Capture, edit, and publish high-quality short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, event recaps) using CapCut or Adobe Premiere.
Visual Design: Design eye-catching graphics for social media and digital platforms using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite in accordance with university brand guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a current University of Utah student.
Preferences
Current University of Utah student (majoring in Film, Communication, Marketing, English, Journalism, Design, or a related field preferred).
Strong copyediting, proofreading, and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in short-form video editing (CapCut, Adobe Premiere) and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
Solid understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and digital accessibility principles.
Ability to work independently, manage timelines across multiple projects, and take initiative.
Availability for occasional evening and weekend event coverage.
