Overview
Join our manufacturing team as a Packaging Operator and become a key part of our production process. In this role you will operate and monitor packaging equipment to ensure efficient, accurate, and safe packaging of products. You will work in a dedicated air-conditioned packaging room held at a constant ambient temperature of 50°F. Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude are essential to maintain high quality standards while following all safety protocols. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in industrial equipment operation within a fast-paced, professional manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Operate packaging machines to ensure efficient and accurate packaging of products.
- Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot packaging equipment to maintain optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Ensure all products are packaged according to quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and safety regulations.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery, perform basic troubleshooting, and carry out minor repairs as needed.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including shift logs, quality checks, and equipment maintenance records.
- Support packaging operations by organizing materials, stacking products safely, and keeping the work area clean and orderly.
- Perform all work in the air-conditioned packaging room maintained at 50°F.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check.
- Packaging machine experience is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and recording production data.
- Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments; familiarity with GMP guidelines is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures.
- Reliable communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Comfort working in a 50°F air-conditioned environment for the duration of the shift.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
