Lead Host | Birdseye Rooftop (La Jolla)
Birdseye Rooftop is a coastal dining experience overlooking the Pacific Ocean in La Jolla. We are a high-energy, guest-focused restaurant where hospitality, flow, and first impressions define the entire experience.
We’re looking for a full-time Host who understands that this role is more than a podium; it’s the control center of the restaurant and the first point of connection for every guest.
What We’re Looking For:

Previous host experience required

Strong working knowledge of OpenTable / Toast

Weekend availability is a must

Ability to manage high-volume service with composure and awareness

Clear communicator with both guests and team

Strong sense of urgency, organization, and ownership
The Role:

Manage guest flow, waitlists, and seating strategy in real time

Set the tone for the guest experience from the moment they arrive

Maintain accuracy and pacing between FOH and BOH

Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, and leadership

Uphold our standards for hospitality, presence, and professionalism

$25/hour average earnings with tips
