Lexington Equine Medical Group is seeking an Ambulatory Equine Veterinarian to join our growing team. With 13 experienced veterinarians and a reputation for exceptional client service, we offer the resources of a large practice while maintaining the close-knit, family-oriented culture of a private practice.

About Our Practice
We are a fully ambulatory equine practice providing comprehensive medical care to a diverse equine population, including:
- Performance horses
- Broodmares and foals
- Companion horses
- Pleasure horses
- Everything in between

What You'll Do
- Provide ambulatory medical care and preventative services throughout Central Kentucky.
- Develop lasting relationships with clients through exceptional communication and service.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced veterinarians on challenging and rewarding cases.
- Participate in a shared, equitable on-call rotation providing 24/7 emergency coverage for our clients.
While we maintain an active elective surgery caseload through our affiliated surgery center, emergency surgical cases are referred to nearby specialty hospitals, allowing our ambulatory veterinarians to focus on the cases they do best.
Qualifications
- DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Eligible for or currently holding a Kentucky veterinary license
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- A passion for providing outstanding equine care
